The Gardens of Statesville are seeking a dependable and compassionate Med Tech to support residents and contribute to a safe, respectful, and well-organized care environment. In this role, you will assist with medication administration, monitor resident well-being, and help ensure daily care tasks are completed accurately and on time. This position is available for various shifts, offering flexibility for candidates with different scheduling needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the administration of medications in accordance with facility policies and applicable regulations
• Verify medication orders, doses, and schedules before administration
• Observe residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Maintain accurate medication and care documentation
• Support residents with activities of daily living as assigned and appropriate to the role
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, nurses, and other care team members
• Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality procedures at all times
• Help create a positive and respectful environment for residents and team members

Qualifications

• Current medication technician certification or equivalent credential, if required by state or facility guidelines
• Previous experience in a healthcare, assisted living, or long-term care setting preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
• Ability to follow instructions, policies, and documented procedures
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to maintain professionalism, discretion, and compassion in all interactions
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work various shifts
