Position Overview

Th Gardens of Statesville are seeking a compassionate and dependable professional to provide personal care and support during the second shift. In this role, you will help individuals maintain comfort, dignity, and independence while assisting with daily living needs in a respectful and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Support mobility, positioning, and transfers as needed
• Provide assistance with meals, snacks, and hydration
• Offer companionship and emotional support while maintaining a positive and respectful environment
• Monitor and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to appropriate team members
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living space
• Follow care plans, safety procedures, and agency or facility guidelines
• Accurately document care provided and any relevant observations
• Respond promptly to client needs during the shift

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, caregiving, home care, or a related support role is preferred
• Ability to provide respectful, patient, and reliable care
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
• Physical ability to assist with routine care and mobility support as needed
• Dependable attendance and willingness to work second shift hours
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
