The Gardens of Statesville Independent Living and Memory Care is seeking a dedicated and organized professional to oversee food service operations and support the delivery of high-quality nutrition services. In this role, you will help ensure meals are prepared safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable regulations, dietary requirements, and organizational standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and committed to promoting a positive dining experience for those served.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily dietary and food service operations.
• Oversee meal preparation, portioning, and service to ensure quality, consistency, and timeliness.
• Develop and maintain menus that meet nutritional guidelines and accommodate special dietary needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels, place supply orders, and manage food and equipment usage efficiently.
• Train, schedule, and support food service staff to maintain a productive team environment.
• Inspect kitchen and dining areas to confirm cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
• Collaborate with care teams, clients, or other stakeholders to address dietary preferences and restrictions.
• Maintain accurate records related to menus, staffing, sanitation, and food service operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve service quality, workflow, and overall customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, nutrition services, hospitality, or a related operational environment.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and dietary compliance requirements.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
